A mock fire and evacuation drill involving students and teachers was
held from Pre-Primary to XII classes on April 25, 2024, to raise
awareness among the students about disaster management.
The goal of the fire drill was to educate staff and students about
fire fighting rescue operations and to assess the school’s
preparedness for handling a situation involving a fire.
The Teacher In-chargeHitendraN. Archaraya, Civil Defence Greater
Mumbai shared simple and easy guidelines to follow safety tips with
the students following Acharayaji’s instructions, the entire
building wassuccessfully evacuated while adhering to all safety
precautions. The presentation turned out to be educational and a
crucial lesson in life-saving techniques.
